Three credit bureaus named Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion track the history of all credit use by an individual, payment of bills, mortgages, and credit cards also. They can also have the data to project one’s credit future. The bureau used this information to determine credit risk through a credit score which is used in many ways.
2) Cell Phone Service Providers:
Cell phone companies possess a wealth of information about their customers like time of call, place of call, number of calls, and even text messages of particular people.
3) Social Media Companies:
Social media, for example, Facebook covers all information such as friends, likes, and photos. It also tracks viewed profiles, communication details, companies and causes supported, personal calendars, and about friends and family. It can also recover deleted posts.
4) Credit Card Companies:
All Credit Card Companies know their customers’ credit scores, credit histories, date & time of purchasing, the interest rate charged, and when to default on their payments.
5) Search Engines:
Every search history on Google is placed on the internet giant’s database. It also tracks records of links that are searched and visited by a user. It uses a person’s interest profile and search history to place targeted ads in the browser.
6) Retail Chains:
Data collected by retail stores are used to determine the purchasing behavior of customers. This information can also be used by other giant organizations for advertising.
7) Casinos:
Surprisingly, Casinos also have secured data of their customer, which table they use regularly, which machine is taken by each gambler, and many more things.
8) Banks:
Banks keep records of their holders’ savings accounts, employer payroll deposits, salary, balance, and the time and date of ATM and teller visits. It also tracks the money transfer information and all these data are used for mortgages or loans.
9) Life Insurance Companies:
