4moms Mamaroo Baby Swing And Rockaroo Baby Rockers Recall Contact Number And Email

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Thorley Industries, LLC, d.b.a. 4moms, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania are announcing a recall of approximately two million MamaRoo swings and 220,000 RockaRoo rockers.

In addition, 60,000 MamaRoo and 10,000 RockaRoo were sold in Canada. When your swing or rocker is not in use, its seat straps can hang below the seat, and children who are not occupying it are at risk of being entangled by the straps, thereby posing entanglement and strangulation risks.

Why Is The Mamaroo Recalled?

4Moms has received two reports of entrapment incidents involving infants who became entangled in the strap under the unoccupied MamaRoo infant swing when they crawled under the seat, including a 10-month-old baby who died from asphyxiation, and 10-month-old suffering bruising to his neck before emergency personnel was notified. No entanglement incidents involving the RockaRoo have been reported.

The MamaRoo swing offers multiple rotations and speeds. Control buttons on the base govern the rotation and noise.
